Speaking from the Heart:

When Words Become Medicine

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Heart (心) is the home of the Shen (神), the spirit that governs clarity and connection. It manifests in the tongue, expressing itself through speech.

When the Heart is settled, our words are measured, grounded, sincere. When the Heart is unsettled, our words may come out rushed, scattered, or searing.

Summer belongs to Fire (火), the season of expression and connection. It is when the Shen (神) shines brightest. This is the time to speak with warmth instead of heat, to let our words soothe instead of stir.

Words can be medicine. Let them flow from a settled Heart (心) and a nourished Shen (神). That's where healing begins.
